The Seminole Tribe of Florida (STOF) constructed a Nano filtration water treatment plant at the Hollywood Reservation to meet future demands and current effluent discharge regulations. STOF tasked R2T with providing overall project management and owner representation for the Hollywood Water Treatment Plant. The Hollywood Facilities consisted of extensive site coordination to address limited space restrictions, treatment building housing chemical feed facilities, administrative offices and an electrical room, bulk chemical feed and storage facility, membrane treatment facilities, and percolation ponds for plant effluent final disposal.
R2T responsibilities included overall project management, Cost/schedule monitoring on behalf of STOF, development and implementation of an extensive document control system, monitoring of large direct purchases of equipment that resulted in tax savings to the STOF, NPDES monitoring and compliance, comprehensive O&M manual development, assisting with the procurement of the equipment to recognize cost savings associated with the alternate equipment proposed after contract award, and the development of alternate foundation and subgrade preparation plan to expedite schedule and prevent impacting existing aging facilities.
Our team also provided technical support to resolve technical deficiencies and design-related site issues. R2T provided full-time on-site staff to monitor construction activities, reviewed pay requests, reviewed and monitored project schedule, coordinated soil, and concrete testing and threshold inspection, as well as provided overall quality assurance.
