Typical assignments will entail the completion of engineering planning and design-related tasks associated with all facets of municipal water and wastewater projects from planning, designing, and overseeing construction.

Specific responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Leads tasks and projects related to water and wastewater planning and design projects.
  • Assembles and leads project teams to support effort as needed.
  • Acts as primary point of contact for R2T with Philadelphia area clients.
  • Completes project management tasks.
  • Assists R2T Management in positioning and developing future projects.

 Minimum Requirements:

  • 10+ years of progressive work experience in the water and wastewater engineering field associated with planning and design.
  • BS or MS in Civil Engineering or related field is required.
  • Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely with written and verbal communication.
  • PE Registration is required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft (MS) Office Suite.

Typical assignments will entail completion of civil engineering design related tasks associated with all facets of municipal water, wastewater, and storm water related projects from planning, designing, and overseeing construction.

Specific responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Researches and develops sound technical solutions to address civil and yard piping associated with water, wastewater, and storm water related facilities.
  • Prepares bid documents, drawings/specifications, calculations, addenda, change orders, investigation reports, and other work product as required of the scope.
  • Reviews shop drawings and responds to questions from contractor during construction.
  • Conducts on-site inspection/investigation including survey and documentation of civil/stormwater issues and solutions. Develops reports of investigative findings, repair drawings and specifications as required.
  • Maintains project records and performs all other assigned duties.

 Minimum Requirements:

Typical assignments will entail completion of civil engineering design and drafting related tasks associated with all facets of municipal water, wastewater, and storm water related projects. The ideal candidate shall have proficiency in AutoCad Civil 3D for various types of Engineering/Surveying/Planning type projects.

Specific responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • In coordination with engineers and other designers/technicians, produce drawings and plan sets using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Prepare conceptual plans, permit sets, bid documents, drawings, addenda, and other work product as required of the scope.
  • Provides coordination between various sheets and disciplines of a plan set, neat and legible drafting, line weight control, and possesses a working knowledge of current National CAD Standards and local code requirements.
  • Helps identify and develop sound solutions for the civil design of water, wastewater, and storm water related facilities. Such tasks could include preparing plan and profiles for roads and utilities, grading and drainage plans, cut and fill calculations, calculating flow lines of wastewater and storm sewer gravity systems, etc.
  • Provides design review and quality control reviews of design and drafting components as required.
  • Keeps project management advised of work status, workload issues, issue resolution, and progress related to the work assignment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive work experience in the production/design and drafting of civil/stormwater engineering projects.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D. Knowledge of additional CAD software such as Revit is a plus.

  • Georgia Foreman’s license and Blue Storm Water card.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of occupational hazards and precaution standards applicable to water distribution, waste-water treatment and associated systems.
